How much is the yearly assessment and when is it due?
The mandatory yearly assessment for Rotonda West Association, Inc. is $136.00 for the year 2008. All lot owners will receive a statement by the end of January which is due 60 days later. Any payment not received after 60 days shall be termed delinquent. Included with the statement for the annual assessment is a current budget both operation and reserve as well as an explanation of the duties and responsibilities of the RWA.

Can I pay my yearly assessment using a credit card?
Rotonda West Association, Inc. accepts Visa, Mastercard and Discover. There is a $5.00 service charge for processing each payment. A surcharge of $25.00 will be applied to fees returned "unpaid" or charged back by a financial institution.

Can I put a fence on my property?
As long as you follow the RWA fencing requirements, you can have a fence on your property. A six (6) foot fence is only allowed on the sides of the home within the foot print of the house. The foot print is the area the the actual building sits on and includes the lanai. No fencing is allowed in the front of the house and at the rear of the home, only 4 foot fencing is allowed which includes the sides of the lot and the rear of the lot. Four foot fencing begins at the rear of the footprint of the home.

Remember, any changes, alterations, or modifications to the exterior of your property must first be approved by the RWA Residential Modification Committee. A permit is required BEFORE any work is started. Permit applications are available at the office or online by clicking here.

When is the trash picked up in Rotonda West?
Garbage is collected twice a week on Monday and Thursday. Place garbage curbside after 6PM on Sundays and Wednesdays. Helpful hint: A few moth balls in your trash bag will keep the birds and critters from tearing them open. Recyclables are picked up on Monday and Yard Waste is picked up on Thursday.
