Any changes, alterations, or modifications to the exterior of your property must first be approved by the RWA Residential Modification Committee. The Residential Modification Guidelines may be viewed here. A permit is required BEFORE any work is started. Permit applications are available at the office or online by clicking here.

Written approval for a Garage Sale must be obtained by the RWA. The duration of the sale can be no longer than (3) days. Garage Sale Approval Applications are available at the office or online by clicking here.

Charlotte County offers online building permit applications for the following:

• Air Conditioner (change out)
• Electrical (new installation)
• Lawn Sprinkler (new installation)
• Pool Heaters (new installation)
• Plumbing (new installation)
• Roof (shingle and shingle over shingle only)
• Water Heaters (replacements)
