Beautification/Mowing Committee
Minutes
December 6, 2007

Present: Claudette Romano (Chair), Margie Carroll, Ken Guillerm, Bruce Miller, Barbara Peszko, John Peszko

Absent: Linda Harrison, Art Richards

Management: Norene Kugler, Assistant Manager

Others: John Carroll, George Krabbe, Stan Plizga, Charlotte Plizga, John Eisele, Jay Lyons

Chair Claudette Romano called the meeting to order at 2:00 PM with a quorum present. Minutes of the November 8, 2007 meeting were reviewed. There was one correction. At the start of the fourth paragraph, Art Richard should be Art Richards. The minutes were approved as corrected.

Mrs. Romano stated that the main topic for the meeting is the Sun Newspaper stands, which are located in the three memorial parks.  An email from Lang Capasso was discussed.

The Committee is scheduled to meet Monday, December 10, 2007, at 11:00 AM with Lang Capasso, General Manager of the Sun newspaper and Bill Ireland at 6438 San Casa Drive in Englewood.

Mrs. Romano asked if the current committee members would like to remain on the committee. All responded in the affirmative. Charlotte Plizga asked to join the Beautification/Mowing Committee.

The next meeting will January 3, 2008 at 2:00 PM. There being no further business the meeting was adjourned at 2:17 PM.
