Present: Chairman Bruce Miller, Hank Artz, Lois Burger, John Carroll, Bud Nill, Claudette Romano, Gerry Townsend

Absent: Fred Warner

Others: Joseph Romano, Donna Krabbe, Jay Lyons, Carl Couture

Call to Order
Bruce Miller called the meeting to order at 2:00 PM with a quorum present.

Hank Artz distributed the revised Actual 2006 and 2007 Revenues and Expenses spread sheets and the anticipated 2008 Revenues and Expenses spread sheets. He suggested setting up the expense portion of the budget with the largest expenses listed first and suggested that the expenses for the Pebble Beach, Broadmoor and White Marsh Memorial Parks be separated from Community Maintenance.

There was discussion about adding two digits to the existing four digit General Ledger numbers. The additional two digits would be used to identify the location of the expense.  All agreed that it was a good idea.

A discussion took place about the fact that training was needed on the accounting system and that Jay Lyons would be reviewing the system to determine it’s capabilities before the committee researched a new system.

Old Business:
Jay Lyons was asked to contact Florida Power & Light to find out if FPL will do a budgeted billing.

New Business:
Hank Artz reminded the committee that the new law requires that interest earned on CDs must remain within the account.

Gerry Townsend expressed her “thanks” to Hank Artz for all his hard work. She said Hank’s time and effort have been very helpful to the Committee.

Bruce Miller announced that there will not be a Budget & Finance meeting in December. The next meeting is January 24, 2008 at 2:00 PM. There being no further business the meeting was adjourned at 3:44 PM.
