Minutes - May 2, 2007

Present: Ken Guillerm, John Forster, Derek Gilbert, Don Mahon, Dave Pulaski, Jim Tibert and Ken Hirsch

Absent: Wayne Mengel and Linda Harrison

Other Members/Visitors Present: Joseph Romano, John Eisele, George and Donna Krabbe and Nick Gizzi

Chairman Guillerm, called the meeting to order at 3:00 pm. Roll call was taken. The minutes were approved as corrected.

West Ways:

Reviewed list of next issues stories

Specific financials shouldn’t be included

Committee felt parked survey requested by Deed Restriction Committee should not be included in West Ways.

Motion by Jim Tibert that the Community Relations Committee requests that the Board of Director withdraw their motion to include Commercial Vehicle Parking survey in West Ways. Seconded by Don Mahon.

The reasons for this request are:

1. Responsibility to define parking problems should fall on the Deed Restriction Committee and not the consensus of the membership.

2. Opens West Ways to become a poll/forum for negative or false complaints.

Motion approved unanimously.

Committee agrees to not include Pinemoor troubles in West Ways

Additional pages in West Way discussed - No decision made at this point

Motion by Jim Tibert that the Community Relations Committee requests the Board of Directors pursue a small claims court case to retain RWA West Way Production Software per the direction of the attorney. Seconded by John Forster. Motion carried unanimously.

Discussion ensued to include a telephone directory on website.

Committee concluded the RWA is too big for a directory to be feasible.
