Minutes - June 6, 2007

Present: Nick Gizzi (Ex-Officio), Derek Gilbert, Don Mahon, Ken Hirsch and Jim Tibert

Absent: Ken Guillerm (Chair.), John Forster, Dave Pulaski, Wayne Mengel, and Linda Harrison

Other Members/Visitors Present: Claudette and Joseph Romano, Donna and George Krabbe, and John Eisele

The meeting was called to order at 3:00 pm. Minutes were approved as corrected.

West Ways:

Draft goes to the printer Monday June 11, 2007. Scheduled delivery to Rotonda West Association office is June 22, 2007.

Web Site:

Question raised about establishing a "Question and Answer" to the RWA Board on the website. West Ways article may increase activity on the website.

Fewer hits due to seasonal activity.

Web calendar. Need to add "event contact" phone numbers to each event.

Webmaster received an email from a member asking if we wanted to add video clip "nature" in Rotonda West. Consensus was to decline at this time.

Webmaster received email from member asking if we want to add photographs of "organizations" on the website. Will add submitted photo in the photo gallery under "Clubs and Organizations."

Old Business:

Member questions the progress on the small claims court case to retrieve funds to purchase new copy of West Way software. No action taken yet according to Nick Gizzi

New Business:

Nick Gizzi received call from Rotonda West Elks club wanting to have a parade on Rotonda Circle at Christmas time. Possibly would tie in with gazebo lighting ceremony. Consensus from committee, that it is a good idea. Logistics to be worked out.

Next meeting will be on July 3, 2007 at 3:00 pm
