Minutes approved as presented.

Old Business

Hank Artz provided information that the liquid roof repair product he brought up at the October meeting will not work on vertical surfaces.

Chairman Krabbe reviewed the five year plan with the committee.  Items discussed were the review of planned projects for 2007 – all of which were completed except the purchasing of computers, home owner’s association software, and the reserve study which were not approved by the RWA Board due to a moratorium on spending.  Also, due to the moratorium, projects for 2008 must be prioritized.  The major priority for 2008 will be sealing the Community Center building to make it weather tight, after inspecting for mold, and any required preventative maintenance on the building.  John Carroll suggested contacting our insurance agent for referrals regarding mold inspection companies, and possibly asking several contractors for advice and estimates to make the building weather tight.  George will check with Jay Lyons regarding a mold inspection. Carl Couture stated that if the building is to be sided, we should check to make sure we have the correct air flow through the attic and roof vents.  Replacing signs at the gazebo area would be one of the first projects possibly approved in 2008.  The gazebo and gazebo island projects, and the clearing of lot 9 and related projects are on hold.  The committee was requested to bring ideas to the next meeting regarding the repair of the exterior of the building to discuss the best option, anything else relating to our five year plan.

New Business:

Bud Nill suggested the time of the meetings be changed to 10:00am.  It was agreed by the committee to hold monthly meetings on the fourth Monday of the month at 10:00am.

Bud Nill asked if the association’s dress code applied to committee meetings.  Chairman Krabbe said the dress code is for the office staff and the board of directors.  It would only apply to committees if they were meeting with county officials or representing the RWA at meetings or functions.

Other Committee Business:  None

Next Meeting:  Monday, January 28, 2008, at 10:00am.

Meeting adjourned at 9:45 am.

Respectfully submitted:

Acting Committee Secretary
